The 21ā³ model is the original Sven-Saw, invented in 1961, and made in the USA ever since. It weighs less than 14 oz, folds to a compact 23ā³ x 1.5ā³ x 5/8ā³ and rips through 6ā³ logs. The blade folds into the handle so itās safe to slide in and out of a pack, throw in the trunk, and keep in the house or garage.
The smaller of our two saws, the 15ā³ model was designed at the request of hikers. Itās even lighter, weighing less than 2/3 of a pound, at 11.1 oz. It folds to a compact 17.25ā³ x 1.5ā³ x 5/8ā³ to easily slide into your pack. The blade folds into the handle so itās safe to slide in and out of a pack, throw in the trunk, and keep in the house or garage.
